— Reorganisation of the Weimbs Organ —

Dirt and defects in the organ technique necessitate a general renovation. Many planning discussions followed.

Under the leadership of Dr. Dominic Klingen, a holistic reorganization of the organ was finally carried out. The organ built by us in 1980 with two manuals and pedal was dismantled, cleaned, refurbished and expanded with a Swell in 2017. The second work step in 2021 included the addition of several solo stops.

The aim of this measure was to remodel and extend the organ without extensive interventions in the existing organ substance.

Not much has changed for the visitor to St. Hubertus when he lets his gaze wander over the organ gallery and the baroque prospectus – the pipes look fresh, but otherwise? Rather, the transformation of the organ becomes evident when it sounds. The purely baroque character became a tonal all-rounder with versatile versatility and great dynamic breadth. The 32′ tuba, which starts at the deep C, attracts particular interest.
