— Reorganisation of the Schuster Organ (1975) —
The organ of the company A. Schuster & Son dating from 1975 is qualitatively in regards to engineering and sound it can be regarded as a showpiece of an instrument of ithis period. The construction is clear and coherent and the materials used were cleverly chosen. Due to heavy soiling and general signs of wear, we carried out a cleaning in 2009.
Since the desire existed to be able to use the organ especially in the liturgy more diversely, in the course of this clean and overhaul the stop action was electrified and equipped with a sequencer. Furthermore, the coupler III / II (BW / OW), III / P (BW / pedal) and a II / I 16 ‘(Sub OW / HW) were retrofitted. Added to this was a tremulant for the Great division and a new Krummhorn instead of Voxhumana in the Positive division.
